Multiple myeloma (MM) is an incurable neoplastic plasma cell disorder characterized by proliferation of clonal/aberrant malignant plasma cells (cPCs) in bone marrow, and presence of monoclonal immunoglobulin (M-protein) in serum and/or urine, associated with immunodeficiency and related organ or tissue impairment [1–3].
