In the NK-cell tumor study group study [30], 38 newly diagnosed stage IV, relapsed, or refractory NKTCL patients were treated with SMILE (L-asparaginase, methotrexate, ifosphamide, etoposide, and dexamethasone) chemotherapy which is regarded as one of the most effective regimens and with HSCT in selected patients, resulting in a CR rate of 45%. This evidence concerns the gene ASPG and extranodal nasal NK/T cell lymphoma.
