In these experiments, AC133-specific CAR T cells, NT control T cells, or primary CD8+ T cells from PBMCs were incubated with biotinylated NCH421k GBM-SCs or CD133-overexpressing U251 glioma cells (CD133-OE U251), which exhibit 10–15-fold higher AC133 expression than NCH421k GBM-SCs [6,22].
