Both HESN groups (>3 years and <3 years) were found to differentially express proteins known to have an effect on viral infection (CYCS, DNAJB1, MT2A, RPS27A, CLTB, CTSB, HMGN2, ALB, ZYX) [27–34] with particular proteins known to increase HIV infection according to the results of in vitro mRNA silencing experiments (CYCS, DNAJB1, MT2A, ZYX, PSME1, BANF1, RPS27A) [35,36]. This evidence concerns the gene DNAJB1 and viral infectious disease.
