Using the Oncomine database, we observed that MAP3K3 mRNA was decreased in many other cancers (vs. normal) including bladder, breast, esophagus, head and neck, liver and prostate cancers, whereas, colorectal cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and ovarian cancers were not consistent from different studies (Supplementary Figure S3). This evidence concerns the gene MAP3K3 and plasma cell myeloma.
