It regulates the proliferative and migratory properties of NB cells through recruitment and targeting of EZH2 (a PRC2 member) to the gene promoters of pro-tumor genes such as SOX9, VCAN and OSMR. EZH2 mediated regulation of these critical gene networks support the role of NBAT1 as an important tumour-suppressor lncRNA in NBs (Figure 2B) [17].
