To investigate the biological role of miR-26b in HCC cells, we first measured the levels of Mcl-1 and mature miR-26b in four HCC cell lines (HepG2, Hep3B, PLC, and Huh7) and LO2 cells which are derived from human embryo liver and described as the normal hepatocytes, although they are immortalized [23].
