RBP3 and autoimmune uveitis: Recently, Hsu et al. [52] showed that ACAID induced in vivo by the intravenous inoculation of ex vivo generated retinal antigen-pulsed tolerogenic antigen-presenting cells (TolAPC) in the presence of experimental autoimmune uveitis-inciting antigen (interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein, IRBP) or retinal antigen extract was able to modulate the clinical symptoms and inflammatory cytokines of IRBP-induced experimental autoimmune uveitis in mice.
