The sensitivity and specificity of CD24 for distinguishing adenomas from normal subjects in our first trial were 84.2% (95% CI, 60.4–96.4%) and 73.5% (95% CI, 61.4–83.5%), respectively, whereas in the second trial a higher sensitivity of 89.2% (95% CI, 74.6–97%) was achieved for adenomas. Here, CD24 is linked to adenoma.
