We treated TBEV-infected neuroblastoma cells with rapamycin (inducer of autophagy, as inhibition of mTOR mimics cellular starvation by blocking signals required for cell growth and proliferation), and spautin-1 (highly specific and potent autophagy inhibitor in mammalian cells, which promotes the degradation of Vps34 PI3 kinase complexes by inhibiting two ubiquitin specific peptidases, USP10 and USP13 that target the Beclin1 subunit of Vps34 complexes) and investigated the effect of the treatment of TBEV growth. Here, USP10 is linked to neuroblastoma.
