We examined the expression of CCND1 and TAF10 by RT-PCR, and found that mRNA levels of both the genes were significantly downregulated in Dppa4 knockdown cells, indicating that Dppa4 suppressed cancer cell proliferation through the regulation of G1/S transition, demonstrating that Dppa4 is a potential therapeutic target for colon cancer. This evidence concerns the gene DPPA4 and malignant colon neoplasm.
