TP53 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: In particular, miRNA expression profiling of 121 head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) samples and 66 normal counterparts, allowed the identification of a group of 12 miRNAs whose expression correlates with short recurrence-free survival and a group of 4 miRNAs that correlates with worse cancer-specific survival of patients carrying p53 mutations.
