BRAF and cancer: To test this hypothesis, we screened for the presence of BRAF exon 15 mutations in a cohort of 667 pathologically confirmed canine tumor specimens, comprising a series of hematopoetic tumors (n = 245), sarcomas (n = 160), carcinomas (n = 115), melanocytic tumor (n = 72) as well as other, less common cancer (n = 75).
