To identify the action of miR-106b on RANKL, IL-8, MMP2 and TWIST we transfected GCTSCs and MG63 cells, a cell line of osteosarcoma known to express these cytokines [31, 32], with agomiR-106b or antagomiR-106b and measured the mRNA and protein levels of RANKL by qRT-PCR, Western blot and ELISA. Here, TWIST1 is linked to osteosarcoma.
