Opposite to the results from thyroid, nasopharyngeal, hepatocellular, esophageal, gastric, breast, and non-small cell lung cancers [13–19], BTG1 expression was positively linked to depth of invasion, lymphatic and venous invasion, lymph node metastasis and TNM staging of gastric cancer, which indicates that BTG1 expression might be considered as a valuable biomarker to predict aggressive behaviors of gastric cancer. This evidence concerns the gene BTG1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
