CD4 and anemia: At 12 months, anemia at baseline (AOR = 2.01; 95% CI: 1.36-2.97), being in the age range of 25–34 years (AOR = 5.92; 95% CI: 1.39-25.15), being in the age range of 45–54 years (AOR = 4.78; 95% CI: 1.07-21.36), CD4 count below 200 cells/mm3 (AOR = 1.91; 95% CI: 1.13-3.25) and 200–350 cells/mm3 (AOR = 2.15; 95% CI: 1.21-3.82) were independently associated with increased odds of being anemic.
