Increased phosphorylated S6 and phosphorylated p42/44 protein expressions were observed in the three cell lines after treatment with glutamine for 24 h (Fig. 6A, B, C, D and E), indicating the positive effects of mTOR/S6 and MAPK signaling pathways on cell proliferation in response to glutamine in ovarian cancer cells. Here, MTOR is linked to ovarian cancer.
