Interestingly, the levels of HGF, MCP-1/CCL2 and Eotaxin/CCL11 in the progressive MS patients were similar to those observed in healthy controls (HGF: 484±310 vs 476±652; Eotaxin/CCL11: 187±143 vs 147±138; MCP-1/CCL2: 588±309 vs 538±315), while Rantes/CCL5 was more elevated in the progressive forms with respect to healthy controls (Rantes/CCL5: 11,371±8,800 vs 5,518±6,796). This evidence concerns the gene CCL2 and myeloid sarcoma.
