Here, we demonstrated that the engagement of BCR in CLL cells triggers, through the up-regulation of miR-132, an inter-chained cascade of events characterized by: i) down-regulation of the deacetylase SIRT1 [32]; ii) increased acetylation of TP53; and iii) up-regulation of TP53 target genes. This evidence concerns the gene BCR and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
