To further study whether reduced PinX1 staining in ccRCC patients correlates with a worse prognosis, Kaplan-Meier survival curves were constructed using 5-year overall or disease-specific cumulative survival to compare the patients with high PinX1 staining to those with low PinX1 staining (n = 243, follow-up time, 60 months). This evidence concerns the gene PINX1 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
