To evaluate the involvement of NRP2 in thyroid carcinogenesis and to strengthen the evidence for the relationship between PAX8 and NRP2 expression, we determined the mRNA levels of NRP2 in the WRO, BCPAP, FB-2, FRO and Cal62 cells derived from follicular, papillary and anaplastic thyroid carcinoma and in a pool of six normal thyroid tissues as control. The gene discussed is NRP2; the disease is thyroiditis.
