AKT1 and renal cell carcinoma: In our study, we analyzed molecular events related to YM155-treated RCC cells by dosage and time and found that YM155 upregulated expression levels of the PI3K/AKT pathway members p-AKTThr308, p-AKTSer473, and cleaved caspase-3, suggesting that YM155 may activate the AKT family to promote cell cycle arrest and apoptosis of RENCA cells.
