MTOR and squamous cell intraepithelial neoplasia: Another analysis of 20 samples each of normal cervix, high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) and invasive SCCs, derived from a total of 60 cases of cervical biopsies and cervical conizations, has revealed an increased nuclear translocation of both p-mTOR(Ser2448) and p70S6K(Thr389), indicating the constitutive activation and overexpression of the mTOR pathway in HSIL and SCC [82].
