Among the V-ATPase subunits analyzed, ATP6V1G1 (V-ATPase G1) was the most expressed in human gliomas (Figure 1A and 1B), whereas expression of the V-ATPase G1 paralog ATP6V1G3 was absent in all cases and therefore was excluded from further analysis. This evidence concerns the gene ATP6V1G3 and central nervous system cancer.
