To test our hypothesis that combined treatment with the Bcl-2 inhibitor ABT263 (Figure 1A) and the Mcl-1 inhibitor GX15-070 (Figure 1A) yields a more favorable antineoplastic activity in glioblastoma when compared to single-agent treatments, we first examined effects on cellular proliferation by MTT assays.
