Soy isoflavonoids exert different anti-cancer mechanisms: (i) inhibition of 5α-reductase, protein histidine kinase, and cyclin-dependent kinases [32,33,34,35]; (ii) decrease the signaling pathways associated with the growth of cancer cells (e.g., NF-κB, Akt, MAPK); and (iii) apoptosis induction [36].
