Indeed, patients with high risk ALL forms, such as those with MLL or BCR.ABL translocations, were preferentially assigned to our “P3” poor prognosis group with the 6 gene classifier, whereas patients with better prognosis forms of ALL (standard or low risk ALL), such as those with ETV6/RUNX1 or hyperdiploid karyotypes, where mostly classified “P1&2”. The gene discussed is RUNX1; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
