Several genes, such as cholecystokinin B receptor (CCKBR), AMP-activated protein kinase α1 (AMPK α1), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and DNA methyl transferase 3B (DNMT3B), are validated as miR-148b target genes and function in regulation of tumour cell growth, tumorigenesis, metastasis and DNA hypomethylation in previous reviews [17,21,22,28]. This evidence concerns the gene CCKBR and neoplasm.
