ERBB3 and injury: Interestingly, asphyxiated newborns who did not develop brain injury showed increased expression of four proteins involved in endothelial cell survival, proliferation, and migration (i.e., FABP4, G6PI, NP-1 and Erb-B3) compared to healthy newborns, while only one such protein (i.e., Gal3) was up-regulated in asphyxiated newborns developing brain injury.
