Eight (VAV1, VAV3, PLCG2, HCST, TYROBP, PTK2B, TNFA, and GZMB) of the corresponding mRNAs of these proteins had been shown to be significantly elevated and one (PLCG1) significantly decreased in AAA compared to non-aneurysmal aortae (Figure 1). Here, VAV1 is linked to triple-A syndrome.
