We recently reported the association of the intronic SCARB1 SNP rs10846744 with subclinical atherosclerosis and incident CVD [11], and a nearby SNP was also reported among those reaching the FDR threshold of 5% in a recent large-scale GWAS of CHD from the CARDIOGRAMplusC4D consortium [24]. This evidence concerns the gene SCARB1 and coronary artery disorder.
