GHRL and type 1 diabetes mellitus: No measurable differences were observed between the crude ghrelin concentrations in HNF1A–MODY and GCK–MODY (0.70 ± 0.21 ng/ml; p = 0.36), that similarly presented higher levels in comparison to T1DM (p < 0.001) and T2DM (p < 0.001).
