Using the described platform, we have successfully demonstrated three single-cell migration assays: tracing SKOV3 cell chemotaxis induced by HGF, determining molecular differences between the highly chemotactic and non-chemotactic populations of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells, and studying a metastasis-related gene (p38γ) by evaluating its effect on cancer cell migration through channels mimicking the geometric constraints of lymphatic capillary intravasation. Here, HGF is linked to breast carcinoma.
