More importantly, Tie-2 was also found to be expressed not only in PC-3 tumors metastasized into a humanized bone scaffold (left panel) established in our previous study [23], but also in bone metastatic tumor of human prostate cancer patient (right panel), further suggesting that Tie-2 may play roles in the development of prostate tumor bone metastasis (Figure 1D).
