While scintigraphic studies have shown variable uptake of octreotide analogs in gliomas, we are not aware of prospective studies on 68Ga-DOTANOC or 68Ga-DOTATOC uptake in gliomas with positron emission tomography (PET), which has superior sensitivity compared to scintigraphy in detecting SSTR2-positive neuroendocrine tumors [7,8]. Here, SSTR2 is linked to neuroendocrine neoplasm.
