Previous study hasshowed that CD30 expression on normal cells is restricted to activated T and B lymphocytes[23–25] as well as the activated B cell-like (ABC) DLBCL has more frequent and higher CD30 mRNA expression compared with GCBDLBCL[26].DLBCL has been divided into germinal center B cell–like (GCB) and activated B cell–like (ABC) subtypes by gene expression profiling with different clinical outcome[26]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF8 and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
