Altogether, as CIP2A depletion in many other cancer models have been demonstrated to result in robust antitumor effects [13, 23] and inhibition of activity of several oncogenic driver pathways [13, 15, 23], these novel results highlight the potential remedial role of CIP2A in the more resistant and therapeutically challenging prostate cancer cases. The gene discussed is CIP2A; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
