CD8A and arthritic joint disease: There was a significant reduction in autoreactive CD4+, but not CD8+, T cells in the LNs draining the inflamed joints of the mice treated with Tregs, compared with CD11c-Flip-KO mice that were not treated (Fig. 8g) These observations demonstrate a critical role for reduced Tregs in the pathogenesis of arthritis observed in the CD11c-Flip-KO mice.
