In agreement, further analysis of KIF20A and FOXM1 transcript expression in a previously published cohort (3455 breast cancer patients)24 revealed that both high FOXM1 and KIF20A mRNA expression levels are very significantly associated with poor survival (P<0.00001 and P<0.00001, respectively, for overall survival, Kaplan–Meier analysis) (Figure 9c). The gene discussed is FOXM1; the disease is breast carcinoma.
