Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of RAS genes such as angiotensinogen (AGT) [1, 2], angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) [3, 4], and angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1R) [5, 6] are known to be associated with cardiovascular diseases [7–9]. The gene discussed is ACE; the disease is cardiovascular disorder.
