Additional experiments found that transduction of CD82-expressing lentiviral particles into CD34+/CD38+ AML cells increased EZH2 levels by a factor of 3.6 (n = 6, Fig 1F), which was in agreement with the observed increase in CD82 expression (Fig 1F) [30, 31], and further supports our hypothesis that CD82 regulates the expression of EZH2 in CD34+/CD38− AML cells. This evidence concerns the gene CD82 and acute myeloid leukemia.
