t-MDS/AML with TP53 mutation showed a significantly lower mean corpuscular volume (MCV) (median, 90 vs. 93, p = 0.0076) and platelet counts (median, 32 × 109 vs. 42 × 109/L, p = 0.0393) compared with t-MN without TP53 mutation. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and myelodysplastic syndrome.
