ZNF582 and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia: Recently, one study also revealed that hypermethylated ZNF582 (methylated ZNF582 (ZNF582m)) performs well as a marker for detecting grade III or higher cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN3+) with 73% sensitivity and 71% specificity for women with low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions [21-23].
