Gal3 has been recognized as an important regulator of PCa metastasis [48–50] and several attempts have been performed to target Gal3 in PCa, using either the Gal3-binding cancer-associated Thomsen-Friedenreich glycoantigen (TF-Ag)-mimic lactose-L-leucine or a high-affinity Gal3-bingding glycopeptide purified from cod [51, 52].
