CD4 and tuberculosis: We found that increasing ART eligibility from CD4+ cell count ≤ 350 cells per milliliter to ≤ 500 cells per milliliter reduced the status quo incidences of TB and HIV, as well as increased the percentage of drug susceptible TB cases averted, HIV cases averted, and TB and HIV deaths averted by CICF for all screening frequencies (S2 Fig).
