FOXM1 and pancreatic neoplasm: Large-scale gene expression analysis by means of microarrays have demonstrated that FoxM1 is one of the most common overexpressed genes in a multitude of human solid tumors [6], including hepatocellular carcinomas [7], pancreatic cancer [8], breast cancer [9], ovarian cancer [10], colorectal cancer [11] and lung cancer [12], suggesting that FOXM1 is essential to regulate the tumorigenicity.
