Appearance of NG2/CSPG4, a PG with a precedent prognostic impact in numerous solid tumours [74-82], was found to tightly correlate with loco-regional tumour recurrence and, hence, was disclosed to be the first ever to be described molecular relapse predictor in oral cavity HNSCC. This evidence concerns the gene CSPG4 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
