Bruce et al. [5] analyzed the ezrin expression in more than 5,000 tumor tissue specimens, including breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, sarcoma, and their adjacent normal tissue samples with microarray immunohistochemical method, showing that high ezrin expression status is closely related with the pathological grade of sarcoma and recurrence of breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene EZR and malignant colon neoplasm.
