As visualized in the Kaplan-Meier plots, the lung cancer patients with a high expression level of the “Fibroblast specific BMP2 induced gene list” showed a strong trend to a higher risk of death than the patients with a low expression level (76% versus 38% after 12 months, hazard ratio (HR): 0.57, cox-p = 0.07). The gene discussed is BMP2; the disease is lung carcinoma.
