Hua et al. [29] showed that VEGF is predicted to be targeted by multiple miRNAs, including miR-15b, miR-16, miR-20a and miR-20b, and transfection of these miRNAs into CNE cells (a human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line) can inhibit VEGF expression [29]. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
